Milwaukee

I always tell my friends and family that Milwaukee is the best place to go to college to, just because it's a community that I get to learn from, but also a really fun place to have for your college years. You have the city at your fingertips, and you also have your college campus as well, so it's kind of the best of both worlds. I love that Milwaukee is so accessible in so many different ways. If I want to take the bus down to the art museum, I can go do that. If I want to go down to the beach, I can do that. What I love most about Milwaukee is the variety of food, whether it be Dog Tracks or Silverman's on campus, or heading down to the Third Ward and checking out what they have there. Marquette's a great location to consider for school and work, because there's a lot of variety here. Different choices of majors, different internships, and since you're in the city there's so many different opportunities for you to choose from. There's a pretty sizable young professionals population growing in this area. A lot of people are going to get internships and co-ops with different companies within the city. Overall, Milwaukee is a friendly, welcoming city, and Marquette plays a huge part within the community. Being Jesuit, it's really important to us to be in a community that we can serve with and work with every day, and Marquette does a good job of trying to implement that.
